The conversation flow

How the agent opens
“Hello! This is a quick reminder about your upcoming appointment. To confirm, press 1 or say 'confirm'; to reschedule, press 2; to cancel, press 3. What would you like to do?”
How it works

- 4Cancel
The patient wants to cancel. Acknowledge warmly without prying, capture a brief {cancel_reason} if offered, and let them know they can rebook anytime.
- 5Talk to front desk
The caller has a clinical question or asks for a person. Don't attempt advice — use talk_to_staff to transfer them to the front desk.
